This building will restore the continuity of the Hanover Street building elevation matches the scale of the adjacent Gostins building. The corner of Hanover Street and Gradwell Street to be emphasised. The architects' response to this site has been to create a courtyard building allowing the Gostins Building rights of light but also giving a dynamic atrium for the hotel.
USES
Ground floor - Entrance, servicing, bar, bedrooms. Bedrooms on x floors above. Hotel of approx 107 bedrooms. Servicing to be achieved from Campbell Street.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
The Gostins building has windows at upper level where rights of light and privacy are to be respected.

Glass and terracotta panels in a vertically emphasised facade composition.
