One Park West - situation on the North-west corner of the new Park , on Strand Street.
URBAN FORM
A 17 storey building providing a significant landmark onto the waterfront. The building forms the north-west edge of the Park and helps mask the undistinguished buildings behind. Modern apartments are created with balconies helping to create a safe environment by overlooking the Park. The curve is part of the grand ellipse that embraces the Park and the building is stepped down to the east to merge with the landform. Main views are south-east and south-west. A car park structure is incorporated beneath and to the rear of the building.
