NEW PARADISE PROJECT CAR PARK SET FOR AUTUMN OPENING

25 Oct 2005

The first Paradise Project car park is on course to open before Christmas.

In a few weeks’ time, car park operator, Q-Park will open the 581-space Liver Street car park, which will eventually be linked by a bridge to the new 240,000 sq ft John Lewis department store presently under construction.  The car park will provide safe, secure and convenient parking for shoppers.  It will be one of three car parks operated by Q-Park providing a total of 3,000 car parking spaces for the Paradise Project.   The launch of the new car park will coincide with the closure of the existing multi-storey Paradise Street car park, which will be demolished to make room for new shops and leisure facilities as part of the £900m, 42-acre development. A public information campaign including leaflets, posters and signage around the city will help direct people to the new car park.
