PARADISE PROJECT SUPPORTS ARCHITECTURE WEEK
15 Jun 2005
The Paradise Project will be supporting Architecture Week (17-26 June) - the joint Arts Council of England and Royal Institute of British Architects nationwide initiative - with specific events and activities.
Between 12.00 noon and 3.00pm on Saturday 18 June, members of the Paradise Project team will be in Derby Square to give a general overview of the 42-acre city centre regeneration project and its progress, and to answer questions from the public. Representatives will include architects Jamie Scott from master planners BDP; and Information Centre managers, Hilary Kinsella and Cindy Downing.
Visitors to the event in Derby Square will be able to see progress on one of the project’s main sites in Chavasse Park for the first time, through recently erected viewing panels.
For one day only, the Paradise Project Information Centre will be open between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Saturday 18 June showing new displays of work by local schoolchildren who have been taking part in CABE’s Young Persons Regional Activity Project.
