Celebrity hairdressers Bling Bling launch

CELEBRITY stylist Herbert Howe hosted the first of a series of receptions at his new Bling Bling building in Hanover Street last night.

More than 170 guests packed the salon to celebrate the transfor-mation, with represen-tatives from politics, fashion and television in attendance.

Guests included Liverpool’s Lord Mayor, cllr Paul Clark, leader of the city council Warren Bradley, Grosvenor’s Rod Holmes, Lorraine McCulloch, from Cricket, and Hollyoaks cast members.

The gold building provided the glamorous setting for Herbert’s style of hairdressing which also has a luxurious salon and training school. Mr Howe said that he resisted the pull of London and stayed in his native Liverpool because his family ties were too strong.

“I’ve always wanted it to be the Harrods of hairdressing and it’s important to me that it’s in Liverpool.
